A try out to see whether I am able to be an amateur model. According to the camera man, a model does not have to be a beauty, but she needs to be able to show a lot of different kind of expressions. I need more practice…

During the photo shoot, I was asked to adopt certain poses which stretch my muscle to the max.

Housekeeping is an annoying and tedious job, I have to face to the fact that certain tasks are unavoidable at this moment, but sometimes you run into some alternative which can make my life easier.

Here is my first IRobot, I hope many other will follow.

By the way, its name is Remora and I got a second one on the second floor called Remorina. They are my 2 new staff…hehehe…

My in laws

Today I was just wondering who should I call in laws besides the obvious members of my other half's family.

I then asked Spawn:" Are the wife/husband of your brothers/sisters also called in laws?

He doubted but he said:" It probably is",

then I doubted" How can it be", don't know how to explain but just do not feel right.

Then I check it at Wikipedia and it mentioned that the 2 wives of 2 brothers are co-sisters in law. Can this be correct?…

In Chinese, the naming for this kind of relationship is much more clearer than in the English language.

Volcano in Iceland

Start worrying about the Icelandic Volcano will affect our vacation this week… Travel agent do not want to inform us exactly what we could do if this is really the case!! Regretting a bit that I did not book our vacation together with C.S. who would depart a few weeks later. But yeah, hard to say, the volcano might still be active by then…

Don't know the exact source of the story, just received it by email from a friend and find it quite funny.

CATHOLIC COFFEE

Four Catholic men and a Catholic woman were having coffee. The first Catholic man tells his friends, “My son is a priest, when he walks into a room, everyone calls him ‘Father’.”

The second Catholic man chirps, “My son is a Bishop. When he walks into a room people call him ‘Your Grace’.”

The third Catholic gent says, “My son is a Cardinal. When he enters a room everyone says ‘Your Eminence’.”

The fourth Catholic man then says, “My son is the Pope. When he walks into a room people call him ‘Your Holiness’.”

Since the lone Catholic woman was sipping her coffee in silence, the four men give her a subtle, “Well….?” She proudly replies, “I have a daughter, slim, tall, 38D breast, 24” waist, 34” hips. When she walks into a room people say, “Oh My God.”

Disney On Ice

After having dinner in Rotterdam, Spawn suggested to go to somewhere for a drink, but another idea came up in my mind. To go to the show: “Disney On Ice”. So we checked our Iphone to see whether we could still order 3 last minute tickets for the show at 19:30 and they acutally had more than enough seats tonight…

The price of the entrance is more than half the price for a day entrance to Disneyland Paris, but this show only lasted for about 1,5 hour and the quality of the show was not so good as what I expected. Spawn fell almost asleep, he probably didn’t find all those princesses so interesting. But what is most important, LiTtLe BeAn did enjoy the show very much!! She saw all her favorite princesses, Tinkerbell, Mickey, Mini and Goofy. She became crazy and was quite excited after watching the show.

And we also bought a nice little princess crown for her. When we put the crown on her head for the first time, you could see that she felt very pretty.

Good Deal

Thought I was immune to the flu of Bean, but after a short trip last weekend, my immune system didn’t hold any longer and I have fallen sick today, just when it is so nice weather outside. I better take a rest during the nap of Bean. Otherwise, no more rest until the end of the day.

Keep it short, the deal Spawn made 2 weeks ago, the cinema tickets for 1 euro instead of 7.5 euro each have finally arrived. I was waiting and thinking it was a fake deal. but it is real real as what Spawn kept telling me…. I think I should trust him more.

Swimming Equipments

Finally received the swimming equipments for LiTtLe BeAn. I am sure that Bean would enjoy swimming during our holiday. Am so excited and can’t wait any longer to let Bean to try it out.

I love the swim vest!!! Too bad I am too big for it, otherwise I would also order one for myself hehehe…

Narcissus

Got this narcissus as a gift from a sweet friend on Monday. Though I was aware that it is going to bloom, couldn’t still believe it blooms so suddenly with a lot of little bright yellow flowers this morning.

Thank to my friend, I really love it and will surely take good care of it.

Juffrouw informed Mama that we have to do something nice to ensure that Bean could be able to recognize her bag in the hallway. So here it is! the bag was made by Mama with Bean’s assistance.
